The Ponte Sant'Angelo bridge in Rome has been used by the faithful for centuries. Pilgrims used this bridge to cross the Tiber River on their way to St. Peter's Basilica and the Vatican. This famous bridge is adorned with beautifully carved statues of passion of Christ angels designed by the famed Baroque sculptor Bernini.
