These 5" figures are hand-crafted from a specially formatted polymer that is resistant to chipping and breaking and then delivered to locations throughout Bagni di Lucca, Italy, to be painted by the locals. After painting, the Fontanini figurines are brought back to the factory for inspection, packaging and shipping. The process is special as it allows you to have a truly "hand-made" Italian product. A delightful accompaniment included in this Nativity Set are story cards which offer a fictional account of each figurine at the time of Christ’s birth.
