DVD Amazing Grace is the story of William Wilberforce, played by Ioan Gruffudd, who follows a courageous quest to end the British slave trade. Members of Parliament oppose him, but his minister John Newton, played by Albert Finney, who wrote the beloved hymn “Amazing Grace”, urges him to stay with the cause.
DVD Amazing Grace also stars Romola Garai, Ciaran Hinds, Rufus Sewell, Youssou N’Dour, and Michael Gambon.
