St. Christina, called “the Astonishing”, was born in Belgium in 1150. At the age of 21, she had some form of fit which made her appear dead. She awoke during her funeral and was reported to have levitated to the roof of the church. Later, she said she had a vision of being in heaven, hell, and purgatory. St. Christina dedicated the rest of her life to guiding souls to heaven. The St. Christina Sterling Silver Medal honors her as the Patron Saint of psychiatrists and therapists. Her Feast Day is July 24.
