St. Raphael the Archangel Pewter Medal 1-1/16" h 950-526.
St. Raphael is one of the seven Archangels and is one of the three angels mentioned by name in Scripture, the others being Gabriel and Michael. In the Book of Tobit, Archangel Raphael guided Tobiah through the frightful torments of a demon and how to safely enter into his marriage with Sarah. Raphael’s name means “the Healer of God”, and he is identified as the angel who moved the waters of the healing sheep pool in the Gospel of John.
The St. Raphael Pewter Medal honors him as the Patron Saint of pharmacists, nurses, happy meetings, and young people. St. Raphael the Archangel's Feast Day is October 24.
